About Me

I am a project scientist at the University of California, Irvine, working in the Secure Systems and Languages Laboratory of Professor Michael Franz. My main research interests are secure systems, type-safe languages, dynamic compilation, and virtual machines.
My research is funded by the National Intelligence Community Information Assurance Research (NICIAR) program of the Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Agency (IARPA), the Computer Systems Research (CSR) program of the National Science Foundation (NSF), and Sun Microsystems Laboratories (Sun Labs) through the University of California Microelectronics Innovation and Computer Research Opportunities (UC MICRO) program.
I am currently on a leave of absence from UC Irvine, working with Mozilla Corporation on a just-in-time compiler for JavaScript.
